My Approach To Reflexology & AcuPressure

If you've ever received a Reflexology Treatment by a Certified Reflexologist or a Certified Massage Therapist with training in Reflexology, you probably experienced a 45 minute session while they worked on your feet & hands and maybe even ears.

While this is a beneficial service, I simply don't approach Reflexology in this manner. Reflex points  associated to the organs & body parts DO NOT JUST EXIST IN THESE EXTREMITIES! They exist throughout your body. With this Theory in mind, I INTEGRATE methods of Reflexology into my 2-hour Body Awareness Therapy services. This provides a more thorough examination of tissues and also educates you in a new way of looking at your own body as ONE UNIT working together. It is all about intention of what we are trying to accomplish!

Many times while I am working on an area LIKE THE FEET, I swing back & forth between different therapies, I may start working the muscles with NMT & Myofascial Release, and then notice a corralation of restricted tissues with other factors and start using the Reflexology theory to work any crystals (adhesions) out of the area that is associated with an organ or body part.
